Communicating with your Physician via secure electronic messaging/ online services through our Patient Portal

Fayetteville Medical Associates allows you to communicate with our office by electronic messaging from your computer or cell phone to ask questions of your physician and/or nurse, the Medical Home Care Coordinator and also the billing/insurance department. You can also request medical records, test results, prescription refills and even pay your bill online.

Using electronic messaging allows you to communicate with your physicians’ office at a time that is good for you, without having to leave your house.

Privacy is a big concern for electronic communications. Each physician at Fayetteville Medical Associates uses secure communication methods so that only you can read email messages from us and your personal physician knows that you are the one who is writing and sending a message. You will be required to create a password that allows only you and your physician’s staff to view your message. It will be SAFE and SECURE. As with any note your physician writes, a copy of the message will be stored in your chart/electronic medical record.

Our office will respond to all messages within 3 business days. If you have a concern that needs to be addressed urgently, it is best to call the office @ 931-433-2551.

DO NOT USE the Patient Portal to contact the office if you think you are having an EMERGENCY! Call 911 instead!

There is no cost to sign up for the service. You must provide your email address to the office and then an invitation to enroll will be sent to you via that address. You physician will keep a copy of your electronic messages in your chart, just the same as when you have an office visit.
