Well Child Check-ups and Childhood Immunizations

Well Child check-ups are an important part of ensuring your child’s growth and development are closely monitored. The goal for these visits is to determine if your child’s needs at different ages and stages are being met.

Well Child Check-ups are vital to keeping children healthy!

At a well child exam, you have the chance to ask questions regarding your concerns over the general well-being of your child. At a sick visit, on the other hand, we are usually focused on why your daughter or son is ill— sore throat, earache, tummy ache, rash, etc….

The schedule for routine Well Child exams is listed below:

3-5 days old-initial newborn 4 months old 15 months old 4 years old
2 weeks old 6 months old 18 month old 5 years old
1 month old 9 months old 24 months/2 years old 6 years old
2 months old 12 months old 3 years old Then, every 2 years unless sports physicals are needed
